My name is Alexandra Haggis and I am a registered dietitian in North Vancouver, BC. I received my dietetics degree from McGill University and completed my clinical internship at Montreal General Hospital. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working in both public and private healthcare with focuses in digestive health, eating disorders/disordered eating, chronic disease management, pre/post natal nutrition and more. In addition to my role in private practice, I also work at The IBD Centre of BC and an addicition recovery center Together We Can - drug and alcohol recovery and education society My goal is to provide clients with empathy and compassion while providing trusted, evidence-based nutrition care.

Recognizing the challenges of todays food environment and diet culture, I practice from a non-diet perspective. I am passionate about helping others break free from food restriction, honouring hunger cues and reaching a place where food no longer causes stress or anxiety. When working with me, you can expect to build an empowered mindset and a healthy relationship with food. As a registered dietitian, I strive to help my clients with personalized and sustainable action plans to help them achieve their nutrition goals.
